Prohibited items
What can never be listed or shown on 210 Gear, and the rules for regulated items that can be. This summarizes sections 3 and 4 of the Terms of Service, which are what apply. A listing that breaks them is taken down, and the account behind it can be suspended.
Never allowed
| Category | Prohibited items & content |
|---|---|
| Weapons & Explosives | Fully automatic firearms, illegal NFA modifications (e.g., auto-sears, switches), destructive devices, explosives, binary explosives, or homemade bomb-making guides. |
| Medical & Controlled Items | Prescription drugs, controlled substances, prescription antibiotics, IV fluids, or regulated medical equipment requiring a medical license to purchase. |
| Regulated Military / Government | Stolen military gear, ITAR/EAR-restricted hardware, police badges/uniforms, or official credentials. |
| Perishables & Hazardous Materials | Unpackaged/home-canned food products, expired emergency rations, dangerous chemicals, or hazardous radiological goods. |
| Illegal Solicitations | Solicitations offering to bypass FFL requirements, sell unregistered firearms under the table, or trade in stolen goods. |
Regulated items: licensed transfer only
Lawful handguns, rifles and shotguns can be listed, but only for transfer through a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). When you publish one, say it's a firearm: its listing then shows that an FFL transfer is required, and it can't be lent.
Frames and receivers on their own, suppressors and other NFA items, and ammunition can't be listed yet. 210 Gear doesn't support their transfers.
- The seller ships only to the verified business address of a licensed FFL dealer the buyer chooses. No shipping straight to a buyer, and no private transfers the law doesn't allow.
- Buyer and seller follow every law that applies, including assault weapon and magazine limits, background checks, waiting periods, age limits (21 or older for handguns under federal law) and interstate shipping rules.
- Private sellers list personal property or collection pieces, not stock for an unlicensed firearms business.
210 Gear never handles payment, shipping or transfers. Every deal happens between the members involved.
